Family Comments on Leah’s Character and Why “Nobody Really Likes Her”

TRANSCRIPT:

GEORGE: Leah pays people to hang around with her and they’re not all famous people. They’re just run-of-the-mill people, like her hairstylist and whatnot. And nobody really likes her. So that’s one of the reasons that she has to pay people to be around her, is nobody really likes her. Like, I was in a limousine with Leah and she was talking to her—this is going back a number of years—and she was talking to her assistant—something about boots. She says, “If you don’t get my boots, I’m going to kick your ass.” That’s what she said, you know? And how do you talk to people like that? You know, the girl is your assistant. She’s not your relative. But even relatives, she talks to them like that. But, you know, you don’t say that to people. You have to have class—a little, anyway.

DANA: I always said to George, “Who does Leah think she is?” I mean, you’ve got to laugh. Like, who do you think you are? Why? Because you got lucky with a hit show and you made some money and you want to go around abusing everybody? Please.

GEORGE: I mean, she had—Leah had, what did she have—something, Models Inc., Saved by the Bell and a few other shows. And they never went anywhere. Models Inc. was—I thought was a good thing. Didn’t work. And that was the end of that. And she was fuming—I forgot the young lady’s name that—I guess the agent. But, you know, she used to abuse her. “Oh, I don’t want to do that part. I don’t want to do it this way. I don’t want to do it that way.” I mean, she’s [manager] paid to manage you and tell you what’s got to be done. She [Leah] had to have it her way. And all those shows closed. There’s not one show that she was on that they have even reruns. Maybe in Indonesia or something. But not here.
